One of our members brought in a turning project from a class he had taken. The posts were turned green and joined with the dry rods, with no glue. As the posts naturally shrank, it created incredibly tight joints around the dry rods.

Daryl Mitchell created this bowl by gluing up pieces of a cutoff from an LVL beam (13 ply plywood).
