<p>We have designed a logo for the <a class="glossary_term" href="glossary#14"><acronym title="CICAAW: Central Indiana Chapter of the American Association of Woodturners">CICAAW</acronym></a>. Several formats are available below for those CICAAW members wishing to use it in publications or apparel. <b>Please limit use to things that present the CICAAW in a positive light.</b></p>

<p>Central Indiana Chapter of the American Association of Woodturners is a banding together of people with a common interest in wood turning.</p>
<center><h2>By-laws</h2></center>
<dl>
<dt><b>Members:</b></dt>
<dd>Remain members by payment of dues to <a class="glossary_term" href="glossary#54"><acronym title="AAW: The American Association of Woodturners is an international, nonprofit organization dedicated to the advancement of woodturning. Our mission is to provide education, information, and organization to those interested in turning wood.">AAW</acronym></a> and CIC (which can be amended). Dues shall be payable in advance as of the first day of January.</dd>
<dt><b>Meetings:</b></dt>
<dd>Shall be monthly, second Sunday of month at 2 p.m. at Boys and Girls Club of Zionsville. The president or vice president may call special meetings.</dd>
<dt><b>Officers:</b></dt>
<dd>Nominating committee shall provide a slate of candidates to be voted on at the November meeting. Offices of president, vice president, secretary/newsletter editor, and treasurer will be filled for a term of 2 years. AAW office shall be notified of president’s address and phone number.</dd>
<dt><b>Voting:</b></dt>
<dd>Will always be determined by a quorum, which is at least 1/3 of members in good standing and at regularly scheduled meeting.</dd>
<dt><b>Committees:</b></dt>
<dd>1. <i>Nominating committee:</i> Three members appointed by the president.<br />
2. <i>Program committee:</i> The vice president.<br />
3. <i>Insurance committee:</i> The president and treasurer shall provide for renewal through the AAW home office.</dd>
<dt><b>Funds:</b></dt>
<dd>Shall be under control of treasurer and president, either of whom shall be authorized to sign checks.</dd>
<dt><b>Newsletter and membership lists:</b></dt>
<dd>Provided by secretary and treasurer. New membership list of all paid members will be published in the January newsletter. All expenses of these offices to be paid by CIC.</dd>
<dt><b>Amendments:</b></dt>
<dd>By-laws may be changed or amended by quorum vote of membership at regular meetings. Will be published in the next newsletter and adopted at the next regular meeting.</dd>
