This is the jig for setting the Wolverine grinding system. The block measures seven inches long which sets the distance from the grinding wheel face to the wall of the vee pocket. The small block on the side has a penny epoxied to its face to act as a wear surface. The penny is two inches from the edge which sets the length that the gouge extends beyond the face of the vari-grind jig. The notch on the left edge is clearance for the lower wheel guard.
